As the Associate Manager within SSPL you will lead Agile SW development teams responsible for full-lifecycle Flight Software development and Payload Software Integration. The ideal candidate will be someone who can focus on the mission while rapidly modernizing to position for the future and growth.Responsibilities include:- Contributing to the technical design and vision of the SSPL organization- Guide the software development and test environment, COTS/FOSS hardware and software, and in-house developed software tools - Ensure company command media is followed and advocate continuous process improvement- Oversee the peer-review process and utilize the associated metrics as evidence of project status and forecasted progress- Oversee the software problem reporting system and utilize the associated metrics for process improvement- Coordinate requirements, data, and test case inputs with system engineers and subsystem engineers- Perform Control Account Manager (CAM) tasks - Plan and supervise project schedules- Prepare cost estimates and maintain budgets including support of proposals- Provide regular status briefings to program management.
