About the Role
Our client, a global leader in transportation, logistics, and supply chain solutions, is seeking an Associate Operations Coordinator to support day-to-day transportation operations. Working as part of an operations team, you will help ensure shipments move efficiently through the supply chain by coordinating logistics activities, maintaining accurate records, and responding to customer and carrier inquiries. Job Description
Key Responsibilities

• Execute transportation and logistics operational tasks while adhering to established policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Create and manage shipment orders, activate shipments, build and assign loads, schedule appointments, and update shipment information.
• Track and trace shipments to ensure timely transportation and delivery.
• Monitor shared inboxes and task queues to respond promptly to customer and carrier requests.
• Document shipment events accurately and follow established escalation procedures when necessary.
• Provide professional customer support and follow through on requests to ensure a positive experience.
• Escalate complex issues or service concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Review and validate shipment and load data to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer and company requirements.
• Support invoicing and transportation-related administrative processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to meet business and operational needs.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, carriers, and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work evenings and/or weekends, depending on business needs and assigned shift.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Customer service experience in a call center, logistics, transportation, or similar environment.
• Strong communication, organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Previous experience in a role requiring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience working in a collaborative and inclusive workplace environment.
