Associate Operations Coordinator / Logistics Operations Specialist

Location: Eden Prairie, MN (100% Onsite)



Pay: $21.33/hour



Schedule: Monday-Friday, either 7:00 AM-3:00 PM or 9:00 AM-5:00 PM



Type: Contract-to-Hire (eligible for permanent hire after approximately one year)

About the Opportunity

Join a global transportation and supply chain organization supporting freight operations for customers across a variety of industries. This role is ideal for candidates with customer service experience who enjoy fast-paced environments, problem-solving, and working with detailed information.

What You'll Do

• Create and manage transportation orders and shipments
• Build and assign loads within internal systems
• Schedule pickup and delivery appointments
• Track and trace shipments to ensure timely delivery
• Process invoicing and maintain accurate shipment records
• Respond to customer and carrier inquiries via shared inboxes and task queues
• Follow established procedures to resolve issues and escalate when appropriate
• Ensure data accuracy and attention to detail throughout the shipment lifecycle

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous customer service experience

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Call center or high-volume customer support experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and accuracy
