Surgical Technologist – CVOR

Schedule: Call: 12–15 days per 6-week schedule (includes a minimum of 2 weekends).

Assignment Details: Daily volume: ~25 surgical cases across 8 rooms. Patient ratio: 1:1 (days, nights, weekends).

Requirements: Minimum 2 years clinical experience. Required certifications: ACLS, BLS; facility preference for CNOR and TNCC. Charting system: Epic (required). Trauma Level I experience preferred. GA or Compact license must be in hand at the time of submission.

Roles & Responsibilities: Assist in surgical procedures by preparing the operating room and sterile instruments. Ensure compliance with universal protocol, infection control, and specimen handling. Facilitate patient safety by adhering to laser, radiation, and fire safety protocols. Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams as needed.

Compliance / Notes: Full compliance required to start on time; non-compliance may delay start by ~2 weeks (orientation schedule). Compliance document deadline: Tuesday prior to start. Candidates must be available to submit core items and schedule labs within 48 hours of signing the contract. Pre-application fee: $125 mandatory for privileging of specific roles.
