Job Type: Full-Time | 0.9 FTE or 72 hours/pp

Schedule: 6 x 12-hour Night Shifts/pp, 1845-0715, Alternating Weekends

$7,500 Sign-On Bonus available to qualified applicants

Our Emergency Department is a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where skilled healthcare professionals make a difference when patients need it most. Our ED provides 24/7 emergency care to the community, supported by experienced physicians, nurses, and support staff dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care. Team members enjoy a collaborative atmosphere, broad clinical exposure, and the opportunity to develop critical emergency medicine skills while caring for patients of all ages during some of their most vulnerable moments.

How you'll contribute

An ED RN who excels in this role:

• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
• Documents patient care given.
• Monitors, records, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assist patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patients and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current Michigan RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's preferred).


Additional requirements include:

• AHA Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (within 1 year)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (within 1 year)
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) (within 1 year)
• 1 year of Medical/Surgical experience preferred.
