Most excitingly, our story is still unfolding, and incredible growth opportunities lie ahead... WHAT IS THE JOB? The role of a Technical Support Specialist is to provide on-site & remote support, troubleshooting, installation and maintenance of accounts, network, and computer equipment.WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES?Provide friendly on-site and remote help to employeesFollows up on open tickets, responds, and troubleshoots problems and concernsMust be able to use their professional knowledge to resolve problems involving hardware, software, and network issuesMust be able to use practical knowledge of operating system, application programs, and networkingStrong aptitude in windows operating systems, repairs, servers, switches, routers, hardware, upgrades, and VPNFamiliarity with Mac configuration and troubleshootingAble to identify and organize tickets according to priority.Assign / Escalate tickets as needed to expedite resolutionConfigure and setup technology for new hiresWHAT ARE THE ESSENTIAL SKILLS? Strong aptitude in Microsoft Windows and Mac troubleshooting, configuration, hardware, and upgradesKnowledge of and aptitude for windows server configuration and troubleshootingKnowledge of switches, routers, and firewalls.
