Senior Accounting Technician

The City of Eastvale's Finance Department is seeking a Senior Accounting Technician. The salary range is $70,166.35 - $87,628.15 annually, $5,847.20 - $7,302.35 monthly, and $33.73 - $42.13 hourly.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from high school or satisfactory equivalent, supplemented by college level coursework in accounting or related field, and three years of general or accounting experience, including some statistical or financial record keeping. Municipal experience is highly desirable.

The Senior Accounting Technician will serve as a key member of the Finance Department by performing complex technical accounting work and supporting the City's daily financial operations. Responsibilities include managing developer deposits, reconciliations, and journal entries, providing accounts payable support, coordinating storm water and miscellaneous accounts receivable billing, and administering unclaimed property compliance activities.
