PRN Lab Associate I OpportunityAlton Memorial Hospital has a PRN Lab Associate I opportunity. Looking for a lab tech with phlebotomy experience to work in a hospital setting.PRN (as-needed) team members are expected to work on an as-needed basis. Must be available to work a minimum of four (4) shifts within an eight-week period. Must work at least one (1) weekend shift during each six-week scheduling period. Alton Memorial offers patients a variety of inpatient and outpatient services, including surgery services, medical imaging, interventional and diagnostic heart services, cancer care, rehabilitation, 24-hour emergency care, ambulance services and more.Role PurposePerform specimen collection, specimen handling and clerical duties. Experienced in phlebotomy and proficient in performing additional tasks such as central processing duties, in-office phlebotomy, or inventory management.ResponsibilitiesInterpret physician orders and order tests in appropriate system.Perform phlebotomy, positive patient identification, and positive patient interaction, proper collection and specimen integrity.
