What We’re Looking For: 

-Reliable, self-starting team members with experience who are looking to grow with our organization. This role will be part-time initially and then transition to full-time. 

-Employees who are comfortable working with high-functioning adults with disabilities in furthering their independence. 

-Strong proficiency with technology. 

-Abilities to work effectively with others, possess outstanding communication and supervisory skills.

 

Job Responsibility Highlights (not a full job description):

-Develop and maintain healthy, positive relationships with the residents.

-Encourage and facilitate independent living for all residents including assisting with meal preparation, medication administration, modeling appropriate social behavior, and running errands. 

-Ensure the safety of the residents and physical site. 

-Work collaboratively as part of the resident’s interdisciplinary team to ensure services rendered are consistent with the resident’s preferences. 

-Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. Our residents work and therefore support will be needed in the early morning, evening, and weekends. Overnight support is not required. 

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

-HS Diploma or equivalent, college degree in human services field preferred 

-1 year of experience working with a vulnerable population 

-Abilities to pass state/federal criminal and DSS background checks 

-Acceptable driving record that meets our insurance company requirements 

-Must attend required trainings
