Job Description
Job Description We are looking for a dependable and motivated Marine Mechanic to join our team at a busy full-service marina. The ideal candidate has experience working on boats, marine engines, and related systems, and takes pride in quality workmanship and customer service.
Responsibilities
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain marine engines and boat systems
• Perform routine service and seasonal maintenance
• Troubleshoot electrical, fuel, cooling, and ignition systems
• Service sterndrives, outboards, and inboard engines
• Perform winterization, commissioning, and inspections
• Install and repair marine accessories and components
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members
Qualifications
• Experience as a marine mechanic, automotive/diesel mechanic, or related trade
• Knowledge of MerCruiser, Mercury, Volvo Penta, Yamaha, or similar systems preferred
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a marina/shop environment
