Staff Interaction Designer, YouTube XR

Develop patterns and frameworks that can be leveraged across YouTube XR platforms, appropriate to both YouTube’s design system and native XR platforms.Establish UX strategies that reinforce user-centered mental models for new features .Translate, evolve and expand YouTube’s emerging design system to make it usable, delightful and beautiful on high-end XR platforms.Build strong relationships and effective communication channels across the organization, including Android XR, YouTube Design Systems, and beyond.Be a constant source of design inspiration across YouTube UX.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.8 years of experience in product design or UX.Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).Preferred qualifications:Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. As UX Design Lead for YouTube XR, you will be fully responsible for creating scalable and beautiful design systems across YouTube XR platforms. This includes areas like Video-on-Demand, Shorts, 360 and other immersive content.
