This role sits at the intersection of brand, product, and growth — creating motion that makes our product feel alive, our ads impossible to scroll past, and our brand unmistakably Superpower. From micro-interactions in the product to full campaign films, you'll define how Superpower moves.We believe emotions provide as much data as logic. Your work should make people feel.What You'll DoCreate motion design across brand, product, and growth: social content, ad creative, product animations, launch videos, and moreDevelop and maintain a motion language for Superpower — timing, easing, transitions, and principles that scaleProduce short-form video content for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other channelsDesign UI animations and micro-interactions that elevate the product experienceCollaborate with brand designers, product designers, and engineers to integrate motion into every surfaceWork with growth to create high-performing video ad creative — fast iteration, clear storytellingExperiment with AI-assisted motion tools, generative video, and emerging formatsEdit and composite video — you're comfortable being both the creative director and the executorWhat You Bring3–6+ years of experience in motion design, animation, or video — at a studio, agency, brand, or in-house teamA reel that shows range: brand films, social content, UI animation, typographic motion, or experimental workMastery of After Effects. Strong working knowledge of Premiere, Cinema 4D, or BlenderUnderstanding of animation principles — timing, weight, easing — and how they serve storytellingAbility to work fast without sacrificing craft. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role.
