Position: Sales Specialist, Uro‑Oncology (Los Angeles, CA) As the Sales Specialist, Uro‑Oncology, you will be a critical customer‑facing member of the team responsible for promoting Ferring’s intravesical gene therapy. The role covers the Los Angeles area and requires residing in or close to the major airport in Los Angeles, CA. Responsibilities Promote and sell Ferring products to attain or exceed established sales quotas. Maintain regular contact with present and prospective customers. Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports to management and other stakeholders. Participate in sales field rides and pursue developmental opportunities based on results. Identify and pursue new business opportunities. Effectively deploy and pull through territory resources, including marketing materials, programs, and approved sales tools. Build and maintain effective relationships with approved and targeted customers. Monitor and manage district expenses, budgets, and sample allotments. Represent Ferring at professional industry meetings and seminars. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum 4 years of buy‑and‑bill medical or pharmaceutical sales experience. At least 2 years of experience in Oncology and/or Urology, with bladder cancer experience preferred. Ability to achieve or exceed sales objectives. Ability to identify potential customers and add to the customer base. Meeting expense management requirements. Meeting demand generation goals. Physical Requirements Sitting for 3–4 hours at a time while driving or riding in a vehicle; driving up to 60% of the time depending on geography. Walking up to 15% of the time depending on geography. Climbing stairs or ramps in certain urban territories. Standing more than 1–2 hours at a time. Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling items such as laptop, iPad, printed material, and product samples weighing up to 20 pounds. Long‑distance travel by airplane approximately 2–3 times per year, with additional overnight or long‑distance travel possible. Compensation and Benefits Base salary range: $150,000 – $180,000, with additional compensation based on annual incentive targets and sales commissions.
