Technical Sales Representative – Wastewater Pump Systems

Location: Massachusetts & New Hampshire
Territory: Field Sales | Daily Local Travel
Employment Type: Direct Hire | Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8-Hour Shift
Compensation: $70,000–$80,000 Base Salary + Commission

We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative to support customers throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire, selling wastewater pump systems, equipment, and accessories.

This field-based position works directly with municipalities, engineers, private contractors, and existing customers to identify wastewater pumping needs and provide appropriate equipment solutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience with hydraulics, pumping systems, wastewater equipment, or an engineering/technical background and be comfortable combining technical knowledge with customer-facing sales responsibilities.

Comprehensive product training will be provided to develop the knowledge needed to sell complete pump stations, system rebuilds, replacement wastewater pump systems, and related equipment.

• Develop and maintain relationships with municipalities, engineers, contractors, and existing customers.
• Sell wastewater pumps, floats, control panels, accessories, and related equipment.
• Identify customer requirements and recommend appropriate pumping solutions.
• Support sales of complete pump stations, system rebuilds, and replacement wastewater pump systems.
• Conduct regular field visits throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
• Develop new business opportunities while maintaining existing customer relationships.
• Work with customers to understand technical requirements and equipment applications.
• Provide technical product information and support throughout the sales process.
• Maintain knowledge of wastewater pumping equipment, applications, and industry developments.
• Participate in ongoing product and technical training.

• At least 1 year of experience with hydraulics, pumping systems, or a related engineering/technical field .
• Understanding of pumps, hydraulics, mechanical equipment, or related systems.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively with customers.
• Strong relationship-building and customer-service skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a field-sales environment.
• Willing and able to travel locally throughout the assigned Massachusetts and New Hampshire territory.
• Valid driver's license required.
