Description - Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and complex clinical lab tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-while following established protocols.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and perform necessary maintenance and calibration on lab equipment.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document procedures, mentor new staff or students, and uphold rigorous quality standards within the lab.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Required

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout the duration of your employment.
