Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Campus Ambassador in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic educational setting. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide welcoming customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Bring strong communication skills and a people-first mindset while working collaboratively with a reliable, agile, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, campus concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors, providing information, and reporting suspicious activity or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
