Job Description As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Documentation in Glendale, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned school district areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:45 AM - 06:15 PMTue11:45 AM - 06:15 PMWed11:45 AM - 06:15 PMThur11:45 AM - 06:15 PMFri11:45 AM - 06:15 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and other members of the school community while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate school personnel and/or emergency responders as directed by site procedures. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, entrances, playgrounds, athletic areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe visitor, student, and vehicle activity; report suspicious conditions, hazards, policy concerns, and maintenance issues to appropriate personnel. Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs related to patrols, incidents, visitor activity, and other security-related observations. Minimum Requirements: A guard card or license is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
