We are currently seeking PRN Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team to cover shifts in the Southwest Georgia Region at the following sites:
Grady County Sheriff’s Office located in Cairo, Georgia
Mitchell County Jail located in Camilla, Georgia
Mitchell County Prison located in Camilla, Georgia
Thomas County Sheriff’s Office located in Thomasville, Georgia

About this position:
The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing care for and treating detainees in a correctional setting. Correctional nurses administer both routine and emergency medical care and treat acute and chronic illnesses and injuries.
Education
Requires graduation from a nationally accredited licensed practical nursing program.
Certifications
Current LPN licensure in the state of employment or ability to obtain license
Current Basic Life Support
Job Typ e: PRN
Correctional nursing experience preferred but not required
Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
