Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with an agile, reliable, and innovative approach while working as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $26.16 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 02:15 PM - 10:45 PM Tue: 02:15 PM - 10:45 PM Fri: 02:15 PM - 10:45 PM Sat: 02:15 PM - 10:45 PM Sun: 02:15 PM - 10:45 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions. Monitor access points and verify entry permissions for visitors, deliveries, and/or vendors in accordance with site protocols, reporting concerns or irregularities as needed. Support daily operations by preparing reports, maintaining logs, and sharing timely information regarding security-related concerns, facility issues, and/or policy violations. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
