End Date/Duration: 26+ weeks

Shift: Day shift, 5x10 hours (07:00 - 17:00)

Hours/week: 50 hours/week (full-time preferred)

License/Certs: California Medical License, DEA, BLS & ACLS (AHA)

Experience: Minimum 2 years anesthesiology practice, recent experience at tertiary care centers, solo practice required

Rate: $390/hour (all-inclusive)

What You'll Do

• Provide anesthesia care for general surgical cases in hospital operating rooms
• Support high-acuity inpatient procedures, floating across multiple respected sites
• Work independently in the OR, occasionally supervising CRNAs
• Assist with regional anesthesia procedures (preferred but not mandatory)
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to all hospital protocols
• Maintain detailed medical records using EPIC EMR system
• Collaborate with surgical teams and support staff in a fast-paced environment

What You Need

Required:

• Medical license in California
• DEA license with Schedule 2/2n registration
• Board Certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology (fellowship-trained candidates considered)
• Recent (last 2+ years) anesthesia experience at a tertiary care facility
• Ability to work solo and float between facilities

Preferred:

• Experience in regional anesthesia and high-acuity (ASA 3+) cases
• Trauma experience
• Experience working with CRNAs

About the Assignment This assignment involves providing anesthesia coverage across a variety of high-acuity inpatient centers and ambulatory surgery settings in Hillsborough, CA. Providers will work primarily in hospital ORs, covering general and regional cases, with support staff including CRNAs, and will be expected to float between sites such as Bay Front, Mt. Zion, Mission Bay, Parnassus, and Burlingame.
