EHS Manager

Project ManagerAs an experienced Project Manager in our Health & Safety practice group you will play a crucial role on our Environmental, Health & Safety consulting team, contributing to the success of our projects and helping us deliver outstanding results to our clients.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain internal and external client relationships, including project and non-project related face-to-face meetingsLeadership of a technical or project-related teamPrepare proposals for moderate to complex projectsManage projects (scope, schedule, budget)Mentor junior level staffUnderstand and work in compliance with corporate health and safety policiesPerform or assist in technical and field work on safety and industrial hygiene-related projects, including but not limited to:Safety program development and reviewMachine guarding assessmentsEnergy control procedure developmentProcess safety management (PSM) and risk management planning program (RMP) development and program auditing, and process hazard analysis (PHA).Developing and conducting safety training to include Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space, fall protection, hazardous waste and emergency response (HAZWOPER)Facility auditing and inspections, regulatory and third-party (ISO, ANSI, etc.) standardsEmployee exposure assessmentsNoise dosimetry and sounds pressure level surveysIndustrial hygiene exposure assessments for a variety of industries including aerospace, manufacturing, and oil & gas.Indoor air quality assessments (mold, VOCs, CO, CO2, etc.)Ventilation studiesVarious assessments including PPE, LOTO, confined spaces, heat stress, cold stress, etc.Preparation of reports and other work-related documents.Required SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Possess strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.Strong organization and customer service skills.Ability to exceed client expectations while thriving in a time critical / dynamic work environment.Ability to work both independently and as a team member.Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint.Ability to create, maintain, and communicate project budgetsQualificationsBS degree or higher in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health/Safety, Safety or Chemical Engineering, or related field.Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO), Safety, Health, & Environmental Professional (SHEP) or Specialist in Safety & Health (SSH) preferred5-8 years of direct safety compliance and/or industrial hygiene experience.Demonstrated experience and knowledge of OSHA regulations and guidance as they apply to industrial, energy, and commercial clients.Detail-oriented, motivated, analytical thinker, problem solver with a driven work ethic.Excellent technical writing, public speaking, communication and critical thinking skills.Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
