RN - Coronary Care Unit (CCU)

Registered Nurse (RN)

We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Coronary Care Unit (CCU) on a long-term contract. The RN will assess, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with physicians and the broader healthcare team. This role requires clinical expertise in critical care nursing, a strong understanding of current nursing practices, and the ability to provide leadership to nursing support staff.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assess patient conditions and implement individualized care plans
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize care outcomes
• Provide direction and guidance to nursing support staff in accordance with professional standards and hospital policies
• Apply evidence-based practices and current clinical techniques in daily nursing care
• Maintain compliance with established safety and quality standards

Qualifications include:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in coronary care or related specialty (Preferred)
• Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) License (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required)
• Additional specialty certifications may be required, depending on unit needs
