Warehouse Trainer Lead

Schedule: Monday-Friday 4:30am-1pm

Compensation: $32 per hour

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Partner with management, supervisors, and Team Members to pinpoint training needs and stay current on changes to policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives, and technologies.
• Build and coordinate training schedules that meet the hiring and training demands of every shift.
• Provide training coverage across multiple facilities, traveling between sites as needed to meet hiring and training demands.
• Lead group and one-on-one sessions across all areas of operations, including safety, food safety, site work rules, equipment operation, and standard operating procedures.
• Assess trainee progress and training effectiveness, and complete accurate training records.
• Serve as a resource for Team Members’ “how-to” questions across various processes and operations.
• Develop and maintain training manuals and agendas, and partner with management to create training materials.
• Monitor the effectiveness of all training programs and recommend improvements to work procedures.
• Build supervisor and manager buy-in to drive adoption of training program updates.
• Operate a lift truck to perform material handling duties as directed by leadership.
• Maintain reliable attendance for all scheduled shifts.
• Perform all duties in accordance with applicable safety and security standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed by Holman.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED); leadership or supervisory training preferred.

Experience: Seven (7) years of related experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, including at least two (2) years in a training, lead, or supervisory capacity. Prior experience as a Warehouse Trainer is strongly preferred. Must be 100% cross-trained in all material handling functions.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills; scanner technology; hand-held radio skills.

Certificates & Licenses: Valid State Driver’s License; Forklift Certification.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Work is performed in both office and warehouse environments, with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and material-handling equipment.
• Must be able to walk warehouse floors for extended periods and lift up to 25-50 pounds.
• Some travel between facilities is required.
