Second Shift- Shipping and Receiving Clerk

At CJ Logistics America, we are looking for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk. This role is the first point of contact for drivers, ensuring shipments arrive and leave smoothly. Visa sponsorship is not available. Candidates must complete the online application. Pay Range: $21–$23 per hour + $0.75 per hour shift differential Schedule: Second Shift A – Tuesday to Saturday 3:30 pm to 12:00 am Schedule: Second Shift B – Sunday to Thursday 3:30 pm to 12:00 am Responsibilities Greet and direct drivers; sign in/out drivers, verify paperwork, and assign dock doors. Maintain trailer inventory accurately with real‑time updates on doors and yard reports. Coordinate yard moves and work with spotters to keep yard activity smooth. Process Bills of Lading and reconcile shipments with packing slips. Maintain accurate schedules, door reports, and trailer inventory. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers. Match inbound loads with packing slips and manage drop‑lot activity. Keep inbound and outbound schedules to maintain seamless operations. Report discrepancies to leadership to keep operations running smoothly. Collaborate with shift management and leads to achieve shift goals. Participate actively in training programs to stay current. Perform all tasks safely and on time. Take on additional duties as needed. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus. Detail‑oriented and able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Team player who works well with others to achieve shift goals.
