ABOUT THE ROLE

We're seeking a dependable and hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician (Painter) to help maintain the appearance, safety, and functionality of a residential community. This role is ideal for someone with painting and general maintenance experience who enjoys a variety of tasks and takes pride in delivering high-quality work. Working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and management team, you will perform interior and exterior painting, routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and support day-to-day building operations to ensure an exceptional living experience for residents. What You'll Do Painting & Maintenance Perform interior and exterior painting, touch-ups, drywall repairs, sanding, priming, and color matching. Complete basic maintenance tasks, including light plumbing, minor electrical repairs, carpentry work, hardware replacement, and HVAC filter changes. Conduct routine inspections of building equipment and safety devices. Help maintain clean, organized, and well-presented common areas and maintenance spaces. Building Operations & Resident Support Assist with move-ins and move-outs by preparing common areas, protecting elevators, and supporting building logistics. Coordinate access for vendors, contractors, and service providers. Perform walkthrough inspections before and after vendor work to ensure quality standards are maintained. Support general property upkeep, package handling, and common area maintenance as needed. What You Need to Succeed High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in painting, maintenance, facilities support, apartment communities, hotels, or similar environments preferred. Experience with drywall repair, painting preparation, and basic maintenance tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities. Customer-service mindset with strong communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and respond to after-hours emergencies when needed. Commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures.
