Procurement Program Manager

Overview Lead cross‑functional procurement projects for new product development within an industrial HVAC manufacturing environment, aligning sourcing strategies with engineering, quality and manufacturing teams to ensure supply continuity and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Manage multiple procurement projects, developing and executing implementation plans using standard work. Partner with Centralized Procurement to create project charters, define benefits and secure required resources. Monitor active projects, update status, eliminate roadblocks and escalations, investigating, coordinating and communicating changes. Identify gaps relative to goals, develop and support countermeasures to close the gap and exceed targets. Lead supplier rationalization, quality and delivery improvement projects to support procurement goals. Align sourcing strategies between Operations, Engineering and Procurement to ensure supply continuity. Provide commercial HVAC procurement oversight, including supplier reviews, capability assessments and risk management. Evaluate business needs against supplier capabilities, select preferred suppliers meeting quality, cost and delivery requirements, and manage relationships and contracts. Participate in cross‑functional gate reviews, ensuring allocation of resources to execute projects. Travel up to 25% as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required. 5+ years of project management experience in an industrial or HVAC manufacturing setting (procurement, engineering, quality, finance, or operations). Experience working in a plant/manufacturing environment preferred. Excellent independent thinking, multitasking, and planning skills. Strong problem‑resolution record and proactive issue anticipation. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong influencing, negotiating and interpersonal skills across the organization. Experience running large, complex cross‑functional projects. Knowledge of supplier development, materials management and/or supplier quality a plus. Compensation Annual base salary range: $75,700.00 – $135,834.99. Salary type: Fixed. Incentive eligible: Yes.
