Assistant Resident Engineer

Responsibilities Assist the Resident Engineer in their duties Participate in reviews and responses for submittals, RFIs, RFCs, design documents, and claims Monitor construction progress and prepare reports Attend project meetings and coordinate with stakeholders Develop technical scope and justifications for contract changes Interface with owners, engineers, architects, and third parties Qualifications Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Civil Construction At least five (5) years of experience in Transit Projects involving: Utility Relocations & Demolition Track & Systems Maintenance of Way Facilities Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field Experience as an Assistant Resident Engineer or Assistant Construction Manager on projects exceeding $15 million in value Skills And Competencies Strong coordination skills Excellent verbal and written communication Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment PGH Wong Engineering, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
