Pharmacy Technician Teacher

The Granite Technical Institute is seeking a qualified and motivated Career and Technical Education (CTE) Pharmacy Technician Teacher to join our team for the 20262027 school year. The teacher may be responsible for teaching the following concurrent enrollment courses: Pharmacy Tech. The health science instructor will be responsible for teaching the state approved curriculum for the Pharmacy Technician course with an emphasis on supporting students in building skills necessary for further training, entry into employment and/or completion of an externship with the ability to pass the DOPL Pharmacy Technician licensure test.

Qualifications: Requires one of the following: a valid Professional Educator License issued by the Utah State Board of Education with a Secondary or CTE License Area of Concentration with a pharmacy technician endorsement. a valid Associate Educator License issued by the Utah State Board of Education with a Secondary or CTE License Area of Concentration with a pharmacy technician endorsement. an equivalent license in another state with an endorsement comparable to a pharmacy technician endorsement. Hold a current Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist DOPL license and must have a minimum of 3 years industry experience (5 years experience preferred). Must also be willing to complete the remaining requirements necessary to obtain an Associate's license.
