Senior Director, Institutional Valuation Practice

Position Overview Senior Director – Institutional Valuation Practice (IVP). The IVP is a specialty practice group within JLL Value and Risk Advisory that services institutional investors and their fair value reporting requirements. Responsibilities Manage team members, workflow, and deliver superior client outcomes while minimizing time spent on assignments. Originate select work in partnership with leadership to identify targets. Inspect properties for tier 1 clients to provide client interaction opportunities or to coach junior team members. Attend at least two local commercial real estate events per year and volunteer for a board/leadership/committee position within AI/IRWA/ULI/etc. Represent the JLL brand: optimism, intelligence, and collaboration by providing solutions and education. Qualifications Education: Continuing participation in JLLU to focus on career path alignment and building professional skillset, including people management and business development. Experience: Previous Argus Enterprise experience required; previous institutional or client management experience preferred. Travel: Moderate travel for business development/property inspections will be expected. Ability to cover multiple asset classes and geographies. Professional licenses: ability to maintain general appraiser license in multiple states as required; maintain state licensing for specific geographic focus and pull temporary practice permits; minimum 3 years of holding CG license. Leadership: Assist with recruiting team members; coach analysts, associates, associate directors, and/or directors in completing assignments; manage up to four individuals. Compensation Commission-based role with earnings directly tied to performance. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
