Your Impact We’re looking for a Senior BIM Coordinator at a Jacobs office or capable of working remotely who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Responsibilities As a Senior BIM Coordinator in the LSS Department, you are responsible for supporting both the department needs for BIM content organization and processes along with project execution. This is a 25/75% split between department support and project support. For the department you will maintain our library of Revit support content, maintain our Bluebeam toolbox, document department BIM and markup standards, and provide training to the department staff. For projects, you will assist the project team in providing department resources, adapt our standard BIM and markup processes for a project, and provide training to new project staff on our standard BIM protocols. You will work with the LSS Project BIM Lead to assist in project setup, review, and audits. In this role you may support multiple projects. This position provides an opportunity to grow your knowledge of the Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks design software platforms as well as expanding your general understanding of the LSS design industry. You will support the creation of fully coordinated 3D models across all design disciplines (C,S,A,M,E,P,T,I,L) as well as 2D construction drawings. Using these software platforms you will support the creation of fully coordinated 3D models and 2D construction drawings in coordination with other designers, discipline leads, architects, and engineers. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent Minimum 10 years of BIM design experience Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Electrical/Telecom/LSS design and construction industry Very good organizational skills Very good communication and leadership skills Analytical thinking skills Experience following client design and modeling standards High proficiency with Bluebeam Proficient with Navisworks Ability to estimate hours required for modeling efforts based on building size Willingness to learn new things Visa sponsorship is not available for this role Preferred Qualifications 10 years of Revit and 3 years of AutoCAD design experience Understanding of industrial‑type facilities Experience mentoring fellow BIM design staff Benefits Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you and in the things you care about. Salary The base salary range for this position is $80,600.00 to $120,000.00; though it will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
