Staffing Coordinator

Maple Crest Health Center is hiring a Staffing Coordinator at a starting wage of $24.00/hr. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday day-shift position responsible for keeping our nursing department fully and appropriately staffed.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain the nursing department's master schedule, including holiday rotations
• Fill open shifts by contacting staff directly, using a fair call rotation to limit overtime
• Coordinate with staffing agencies to cover gaps and verify agency invoices for accuracy
• Review applications and schedule interviews for CNA candidates
• Track attendance, PTO requests, and timeclock corrections
• Respond to on-call staffing needs after hours as coverage issues arise

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to remain organized and composed in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions

Preferred, not required:

• Prior scheduling experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting
• CNA certification
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and scheduling software

Compensation and Benefits: Starting wage of $24.00/hr Eligible for full company benefits

Schedule: Full-time, day shift. This position includes weekend rotation, holiday coverage, and on-call responsibility for after-hours staffing needs.
