Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager | 100% Remote
Innovative legal technology company is seeking a Business Development Manager to join its growing team. This is a unique opportunity for a Plaintiff Personal Injury Paralegal or Attorney who understands the PI space and is interested in transitioning into a client-facing business development role within the legal technology industry.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and develop relationships with Plaintiff Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, and Workers’ Compensation law firms
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for law firm decision-makers
- Showcase AI-powered tools designed to streamline medical record review, treatment chronologies, demand drafting, and case management
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and accurately forecast opportunities
- Manage CRM activity, sales metrics, conversion rates, deal size, and sales cycle length
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Identify opportunities for account expansion and upselling
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to share client feedback and improve messaging
- Stay current on legal technology, AI, compliance, and evolving needs within the Plaintiff Personal Injury market
Qualifications:
- 2–5+ years of Plaintiff Personal Injury experience as a Paralegal or Attorney
- Strong understanding of Plaintiff PI law firm operations and workflows
- Interest in transitioning into business development, sales, or client-facing work
- Strong relationship-building, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to communicate legal and technical concepts effectively to law firm decision-makers
- Experience with or strong interest in legal technology and AI
- Self-starter who is comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel approximately 1x/month, with flexibility for up to 2x/month when needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Law, or a related field preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
- $80,000–$110,000 base salary
- $160,000–$220,000+ on-target earnings
- Uncapped commission with quarterly payouts
