Automotive Technician

$40–$65/Flagged Hour | AIR-CONDITIONED SHOP | Flexible Scheduling | DeSoto, TX

AutoShop Recruiting has partnered with Allstate Transmission & Auto Repair to add an experienced Automotive Technician to a busy DeSoto operation averaging 60–80 vehicles per week , with current technicians producing approximately 50–75 flagged hours per week .

Whether you're a solid B-Level Technician ready to take on more advanced work or an experienced A-Level/Diagnostic Technician interested in growing toward Shop Foreman , we want to talk.

The Work Is Here

60–80 vehicles/week | 11 stalls | 6 technicians | 5 service advisors

Approximately 70% of the workload is general repair , including the mechanical work experienced B- and A-Level technicians should be comfortable handling.

The vehicle mix is approximately 80% domestic / 20% European .

European experience is a plus, not required.

What You'll Do

Depending on your experience level, you'll handle a mix of:

• General automotive repair and maintenance
• Brakes, steering and suspension
• Engine and cooling-system repairs
• Electrical and drivability diagnosis
• Check-engine-light and performance concerns
• Scan-data and electrical testing
• Complex mechanical diagnosis and repair

What We're Looking For

• Professional automotive repair experience
• Strong general repair capability
• Ability to independently complete quality repairs
• Diagnostic ability appropriate to your experience level
• Desire to continue developing technically
• Professional tools appropriate for your skill level
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record

You don't need to be a Master Technician to be considered.
