NICU RN - Concord, North Carolina

Provide expert neonatal nursing care in a specialized NICU setting, delivering focused support for newborns requiring intensive medical attention. This contract position is based in Concord, NC, offering a valuable opportunity to work within a collaborative healthcare environment dedicated to pediatric and neonatal patient populations.


Responsibilities include:

• Delivering high-quality nursing care to neonates in the NICU.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitoring, assessing, and documenting patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Floating as needed to Neonatal PCU, General Pediatrics, and potentially Pediatric CVICU, PICU, providing support where required.
• Fulfilling weekend, holiday, and specified weekday shift rotations as scheduled.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid and current RN license with a specialization or experience in NICU nursing.
• Proven clinical skills in neonatal intensive care.
• Ability to adapt and float to related pediatric units when necessary, with or without prior experience.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation.
• Availability to work within the outlined schedule.

Schedule:

• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• 36 hours per week.
• Scheduled to work 2 Fridays, 2 Mondays, and every other weekend in a 6-week rotation.
• Mandatory holiday shifts as per travel assignment requirements.
