Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Machine Setup and Maintenance Technician at our facility located in Elmhurst, IL, 60126. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our machinery operates efficiently and effectively. If you have a knack for troubleshooting and a passion for maintaining high-quality standards, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Set up and calibrate machinery for production runs according to specifications.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain accurate records of machine performance and maintenance activities.
Collaborate with production teams to optimize machine efficiency and output.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Assist in training new staff on machine operation and maintenance procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
Proven experience in machine setup, maintenance, or a similar role.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
