We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Commercial Superintendent to join our thriving construction team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations on the construction site, including the supervision of all field and subcontractor personnel. Job Details Responsibilities Oversee, coordinate, and supervise construction activities on various commercial projects, including hotels, country clubs, clubhouses, healthcare facilities, and other commercial buildings. Implement and maintain strict safety standards to ensure a safe work environment for all staff and subcontractors. Conduct quality control audits to ensure compliance with building regulations and codes. Manage and mitigate risks associated with construction projects. Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of construction professionals to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget. Resolve any work-related issues or disputes that may arise, ensuring a smooth workflow. Communicate effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project objectives are met. Ensure all projects are delivered on time by effectively managing time and resources. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Superintendent in the construction industry. Proven experience in ground-up commercial construction, including hotels, country clubs, clubhouses, and healthcare construction. Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSHA guidelines, and building codes. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Proficient in risk and safety management. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a knack for making effective decisions under pressure. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines. Ability to read and understand construction blueprints and plans. Proficient in using construction management software. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred. Must possess a valid driver's license.
