Working across product, engineering, business development, logistics, and operations, the Maritime team develops, tests, deploys, and sustains the Anduril maritime capabilities in a challenging operational environment worldwide. As a leader in the Maritime Division, you must be a technical leader with the expertise to evaluate, qualify, manage, and advocate for an increasing number of sophisticated parallel pursuits. This role is crucial in ensuring that each initiative aligns with the company's strategic direction and receives the appropriate resourcing, balancing innovation with practical execution to drive the business line's success.ABOUT THE JOBYou will lead all production activity for a maritime autonomous vehicle program. You will build and lead the production organization from scratch, establishing manufacturing processes, quality systems, and the infrastructure needed to scale from prototype builds through full-rate production.Your spectrum of support will be diverse in nature and require you to leverage your technical expertise as well as leadership skills to set objectives, build cross-functional teams, and rapidly drive to completion. The ability to leverage your intuition and prior experience will be key in making sure the right design, analysis, and test steps are completed to ensure success. The ideal candidate will leverage their experience executing and successfully completing prior highly optimized multi-disciplinary projects.WHAT YOU'LL DOOwn all production activity: manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and production supportBuild and lead the production organization, hiring across manufacturing engineering, quality, and operationsEstablish manufacturing processes and production infrastructure for complex electromechanical vehiclesDrive the manufacturing development lifecycle: Concept, Prototype, LRIP, FRPManage production budgets, schedules, and on-time delivery performanceOwn production readiness reviews and design handoff from engineeringCoordinate supply chain including demand planning, procurement, and warehouse operationsImplement and optimize production systems (ERP, MES, QMS)Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent methodologiesEnsure compliance with AS9100D and customer quality requirementsInterface with engineering, program management, and customer organizationsTravel up to 25% to manufacturing facilities and customer sitesREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent8+ years of experience in manufacturing or production for complex electromechanical systemsExperience building and leading production teams and organizationsDemonstrated experience scaling production from NPI through full-rate productionExperience with production systems (ERP, MES, QMS)Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearancePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience in maritime, aerospace, or defense manufacturingWorking knowledge of AS9100D quality management systemsExperience with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologiesFamiliarity with shipbuilding or large vehicle productionExperience managing production budgets in the $10M+ rangeUS Salary Range$166,000—$220,000 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
