Couples Counselor/Therapist (MFT/LPC) - Columbus

Overview Marriage & Family Therapist or Couples Counselor (Part-Time) – Columbus Office Ascension Counseling is a niched private practice with locations in Beachwood and Columbus, Ohio. This part-time position is for clinicians who work with couples experiencing relationship distress and individuals addressing trauma, anxiety, and depression. The clinician will primarily work in the office and maintain a schedule that includes 4 evenings per week and at least 2 Saturdays per month. The caseload is 15 billable hours per week, including psychotherapy for couples, families, and individuals. Gottman Level 1 training is required, and building clinical competence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples is required. Responsibilities Provide psychotherapy to couples, families, and individuals in an in-person office setting. Maintain a caseload of 15 billable hours per week. Work 4 evenings per week and at least 2 Saturdays per month. Demonstrate competence in Gottman Method (Level 1) and EFT for couples. Qualifications Current license in good standing to practice in Ohio (MFT, LPC, IMFT, LPCC, or IMFT-S/LPCC-S). In-person work availability in Beachwood or Columbus.
