Become a part of a dedicated, multidisciplinary team at our organization as an Inpatient Psychiatrist within our 40-bed adult psychiatric unit located in Sanford, Maine. We are looking for both full-time and per diem psychiatrists to provide compassionate, team-oriented care for individuals facing complex psychiatric and psychosocial challenges. You will collaborate with experienced nurse practitioners, social workers, behavioral health specialists, and supportive programming staff in a collegial atmosphere that emphasizes teamwork, innovation, and continuity of care. This role offers a unique chance to influence treatment strategies, deliver direct therapeutic and pharmacological interventions, and significantly enhance the lives of patients—all while enjoying a healthy work-life balance in the picturesque region of Southern Maine.

• Graduation from an Allopathic or Osteopathic Medical School, with completion of an internship and psychiatric residency and/or fellowship training.
• Current or eligible physician licensure from the Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine.
• Certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or eligibility for examination, as evidenced by written documentation.
• Board Certified or board eligible in general psychiatry, with a valid DEA Registration Certificate.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience, including residency and/or fellowship training.
• Fulfillment of additional credentialing requirements as outlined in Medical Staff By-laws.
