Core Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound exams including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic output
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, addressing any issues without delay
• Accurately document examination details and maintain thorough patient records within the electronic health system
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound methodologies and practices

Educational Background

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• A completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Required Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent board
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
