Job Description
Provide case management assistance and support to individuals who have been injured and/or disabled due to serious accidents. Attendance at physician appointments, tests, procedures and evaluations required. Taking notes at Physician appointments and reporting findings. Writing summaries of encounters, logging activity and coordinating schedule of follow-up appointments. Handling medical records, maintaining HIPPA and interacting with other members of the healthcare team. Good bedside manner a must. Candidate should possess strong communication skills, professionalism, attention to details, organization skills, health care experience, willingness to learn, willingness to change, and desire to make a difference in the lives of others. Travel to and from appointments required.
Social Work (LMSWs), Nursing (RNs or LPNs), Human Services or Case Management background preferred. Fast track bonus program available for Davenport University students and graduates.
