Civil Engineering Intern

Are you pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Transportation, Water Resources, or a related field and looking to gain hands-on experience?

Psomas is looking for Engineering Interns to join our Salt Lake City team!

As our engineering intern, you'll contribute to real-world projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and gain exposure to the diverse disciplines within a multidisciplinary engineering and environmental consulting firm. This is an opportunity to apply what you're learning in the classroom while building your technical skills and professional network.

What You'll Do
Depending on your interests and project needs, you may:

• Support engineers and project teams with design, calculations, analysis, and technical documentation
• Assist with plans, specifications, reports, exhibits, and other project deliverables
• Gain experience with software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation/OpenRoads
• Participate in site visits, field observations, data collection, and research
• Collaborate with professionals across land development, transportation, water, environmental, surveying, and planning
• Learn how engineering principles are applied to real-world infrastructure and development projects

What You Bring

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong interest in engineering, infrastructure, development, transportation, water, or environmental services
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and willingness to learn
• Previous internship or project experience is a plus, but not required
