You'll work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, vendors, and subcontractors while taking ownership of RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, cost tracking, scheduling, and project documentation. This position is designed for someone who already understands the fundamentals of construction project execution and is ready to develop the skills necessary to become a Project Manager.Support Project Managers throughout all phases of electrical construction projectsCoordinate activities between project management, field leadership, vendors, and subcontractorsManage and track RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and change ordersMaintain project logs and proactively follow up on outstanding itemsAssist with project budgets, job-cost tracking, forecasting, and cost projectionsSupport change-order pricing and coordination with estimating and field teamsReview vendor and subcontractor invoices for accuracyAssist with purchase orders and procurement of electrical equipment and materialsTrack material and equipment deliveries against project schedulesAssist with project schedules, lookaheads, and production trackingCoordinate with Superintendents and Foremen regarding manpower and field progressIdentify potential schedule delays, scope conflicts, and field issuesSupport QA/QC activities and compliance with plans, specifications, and applicable codesAssist with inspections and testing coordinationSupport project safety expectations alongside field leadershipCoordinate punch-list activities and final inspectionsAssemble as-builts, O&M manuals, warranties, and other closeout documentationQualifications2–5 years of experience in electrical construction, project engineering, project coordination, or assistant project managementExperience supporting commercial and/or industrial electrical construction projectsUnderstanding of electrical construction processes and project lifecycleExperience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentationExposure to project budgets, cost tracking, procurement, and schedulingAbility to read construction drawings, specifications, and related project documentationStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environmentStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, vendors, and subcontractorsAbility to travel regularly to active project sitesPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related fieldPrevious progression from a Project Engineer or similar construction roleExperience with Procore and/or ProjectSightExperience with BluebeamProficiency with Microsoft OfficeExperience supporting commercial and industrial electrical projects from preconstruction through closeoutJobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
