Location: Longview, WA Pay: $21.45 – $26.81 per hour Job Type: Full-Time

Most employees start between $21.45 and $24.13. The higher end of the range, $26.81, is reserved for candidates with exceptional experience or qualifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Trained and certified by Seaport Steel to operate a forklift to load material and determine the safety of a load.

• Regulate the speed and direction of the forklift movement to ensure the safe movement of material.

• Uses chains, banding, or strapping as required for safe movement or loading material.

• Maintains clean workspace and reports any necessary maintenance of equipment.

• Required to inspect forklift for defective parts and notifies the supervisor of defects or malfunctions.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
