Manager - Commercial Finance

Position Description Manage the Reporting/Controls function and lead the Reporting team Be an advocate for change, continually challenging the status quo while looking for areas to simplify how both the team and wider business execute Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) as required in areas of expertise, supporting internal departments and attending customer meetings as required Ad hoc tasks and projects as required by the business Act as a point of escalation within Reporting issue/query resolution Produce timely and accurate financial statements compliant with all accounting and policies and statutory requirements Manage inventory cycle counting selections and reconciliations Manage and oversee inventory balances and reconciliations Analyze results to identify improvements in financial statement accuracy and usefulness of financial information for decision-making Sales tax management Payroll accounting Accounts payable Accounts receivable Internal controls and audit responsibilities Assist in the preparation, maintenance and analysis of monthly standalone, consolidated, and combined financial statements Required Education & Experience Minimum of 7+ years of overall professional experience, including 2+ at a leadership level Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint, etc.) Demonstrable experience in managing teams to high performance standard Benefits Health Insurance Vision Insurance Dental Insurance Life and Disability Insurance Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts Employee Assistance Program 401(k) plan with company match Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays, Bereavement, and Jury Duty Paid Pregnancy/Parental Leave Paid Military Leave Tuition Reimbursement Pay Competitive wages commensurate with job‑related skills, experience, education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $105,050.00 – $149,700.00 USD annually for full‑time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay and bonus earnings.
