If you’ve kept a front desk running, managed a busy calendar, or been the person in the office who always knows where everything is, we’d like to meet you. Clean Rite is hiring a part-time Office Assistant for about 20 hours a week, on a schedule that leaves room for the rest of your life.

The schedule

This is a part-time role, about 20 hours a week, give or take.

• Thursdays and Fridays are the core of the week, close to full days in the office.
• The rest of the hours are flexible. Some weeks that might be a few hours on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, or the occasional Saturday. There is flexibility we can work with. 
• If you’re working around school pickup, another job or classes, we’ll work with you on the hours outside Thursday and Friday.

About Us

Clean Rite Cleaning & Restoration helps homes and businesses recover from water, fire and mold damage, and handles carpet cleaning the rest of the time. When someone calls us, it’s usually on a bad day. The office is where that call lands and where the job gets organized, so our technicians can show up and make it right.

What you’ll do

• Answer the phone and be the calm, friendly voice a customer hears first, often on a stressful day
• Greet customers, vendors and visitors who come into the office
• Help schedule appointments and get technicians out to the right job sites
• Keep files, records and job paperwork organized and easy to find
• Enter job and customer information accurately
• Help prepare and send invoices, estimates and other documents
• Stay in touch with the partners who refer work to us
• Work with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors as needed
• Keep an eye on office supplies and reorder before anything runs out

What we’re looking for

You don’t need restoration experience. We’ll teach you the business. Front desk at a dental office, scheduling for a contractor, the front office at a school or a property management company: it all counts.

• Experience in an office, reception, scheduling or customer service role
• Organized, careful with details, and good at keeping several things moving at once
• Comfortable on the phone, including with people who are upset
• Clear, friendly writing in email
• Comfortable with a computer, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. We’ll train you on the rest of our systems
• Able to work on your own and spot what needs doing next
• High school diploma or equivalent
