Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol and Access Control in Hershey PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support access activity with professional customer service and a role built on teamwork integrity and reliability you will help create a welcoming environment while using an agile people-first approach each day.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and document observations and activities according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas warehouse spaces parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to verify entry and exit activity for authorized personnel visitors and/or deliveries in accordance with location procedures.
• Report maintenance concerns hazards and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts and assist with follow-up communication as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
