1:1 LPN School Nurse Full-Time

Location: St. Francis, MN Position: 1:1 School Nurse Student: 7th Grade Schedule: Full-Time Assignment: School Year

Position Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time 1:1 school nursing position in St. Francis, MN. The LPN will provide dedicated nursing care and support to a 7th grade student with a tracheostomy throughout the school day.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable and experienced with trach care and able to respond appropriately to the student's medical needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 nursing support to the assigned 7th grade student
• Provide routine and as-needed tracheostomy care
• Monitor the student's respiratory status and overall health
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Respond appropriately to changes in the student's condition
• Communicate and collaborate with school staff, family, and healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate health documentation

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota LPN license
• Must be comfortable providing trach care
• Experience with tracheostomy care required
• Pediatric or school nursing experience preferred
• Experience working with medically fragile students is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Reliable and comfortable working independently

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.50 to $50.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
