SEO Content Specialist Compensation

• $29 – $31 per hour (based on experience)
• Benefits available to full-time employees after 90 days

SEO Content Specialist Key Responsibilities

SEO Content Creation & Optimization

• Conduct keyword research using tools such as SEMrush or similar platforms
• Develop SEO-focused content outlines for blogs, product pages, and glossary content
• Optimize on-page elements including headings, structure, metadata, and keyword usage
• Review and refine content to align with SEO best practices and search intent
• Strengthen internal linking and site structure for improved discoverability
• Identify SEO gaps and recommend content improvements

Content Workflow & Execution

• Manage content lifecycle from intake through publishing
• Coordinate with writers, editors, agencies, and internal stakeholders
• Track content pipeline status and ensure timely delivery
• Support content prioritization and backlog management
• Maintain accuracy, consistency, and quality across all content

Performance Tracking & Reporting

• Monitor key SEO metrics including traffic, impressions, and keyword rankings
• Analyze content performance and identify optimization opportunities
• Report on content effectiveness and improvement areas
• Support backlink and offsite SEO initiatives where applicable

GEO / AI Search Optimization

• Optimize content for generative search engines and LLM visibility
• Structure content for AI readability (answer-first format, clear headings, concise sections)
• Develop FAQ content based on search queries and user intent
• Improve entity coverage and semantic relevance across content
• Apply GEO best practices to improve visibility in AI-driven search results
• Use AI tools to assist with drafting, optimization, and scaling content production

SEO Content Specialist Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience in SEO, content marketing, or digital marketing
• Strong understanding of keyword research, search intent, and on-page SEO
• Experience managing multiple content projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with SEO tools such as SEMrush or similar platforms
• Strong writing, editing, and content structuring skills
• Ability to work onsite in Meridian, ID
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

SEO Content Specialist Preferred Experience

• Experience with project management tools (Workfront or similar)
• Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
