The Category Marketer owns the marketing strategy, positioning, and go-to-market execution for specific Wayfinder product categories, such as travel trailers, toy haulers, lightweight trailers, adventure units, or future product lines. This role is the bridge between product, sales, customer insight, dealer feedback, and marketing execution. The job is to make sure every Wayfinder category has a clear market position, a strong customer message, competitive differentiation, and marketing assets that help the sales team win.

Responsibilities

• Understand the customer deeply
• Own competitive research and category intelligence
• Translate features into customer benefits
• Create sales enablement tools
• support product development with market feedback
• own category messaging across channels
• manage launch readiness
• measure category performance

Required Skills

• Product marketing or category marketing experience
• Strong writing, messaging, and communication ability
• Competitive research and market analysis skills
• Ability to simplify technical product details into customer benefits
• RV, powersports, outdoor, automotive, marine, equipment, or durable goods experience preferred
• Sales enablement and go-to-market planning experience
• Project management and cross-functional coordination
• Customer-first mindset and comfort working with sales teams
